EduEvo: At the very beginning, can you please present yourself and tell us more about you as a person.
Ms. Maša Kondić: Hi EduEvo. My name is Maša Kondić and I live in Novi Sad. I joined Delta Holding in 2019 as an assistant for innovative projects. I currently work as a marketing manager at Danubius.
EduEvo: How did you start your career?
Ms. Maša Kondić: During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in the work of our start-ups centres and I was very interested in working on start-ups, participating in the development of a business from the idea to the realization of the project. That was exactly the guideline for my first job and my wish came true and I had the opportunity to work with start-ups. Over time, I had the opportunity to participate in the PR activities of the company where my knowledge began to spread. Today, the knowledge I have gathered in the corporate communications sector has spread to the brand management of the brand, which is existing for more than 100 years.
EduEvo: In what way did this company help you achieve the success you have now?
Ms. Maša Kondić: Commitment to young new colleagues, mentors who are willing to teach their employees, to give them obligations and responsibilities and to be supportive during the learning process. All this has influenced the development, new knowledge and experiences that I currently have.
EduEvo: What education means to you? Is it important for you?
Ms. Maša Kondić: Education is very important; it gives us various opportunities depending on the interests of the individual. From the possibilities of working at the faculty, cooperation with other institutions, acquaintances, the possibility of various trips through student exchanges to acquiring the basic knowledge needed to, after graduating from the faculty, find a job that we love and want to do.
EduEvo: What are your plans for the future?
Ms. Maša Kondić: I have a desire to upgrade my knowledge by enrolling in master’s studies abroad. This would give me new knowledge, new acquaintances have the opportunity to travel, learn a new language and contribute to the development of the brand with new experience.
EduEvo: What kind of advice would you give the youngsters being at the very beginning of their professional career?
Ms. Maša Kondić: Above all, they must be persistent and self-confident with a great deal of respect for others. Also, patience is very important. When we find our first job, we have to be patient, it takes time and a great mentor to make the job dynamic, to be successful and achieve the results he has set for himself. Constant work on yourself and improvement goes without saying!
